Affiliations with national research centers enable gynecologic, medical and radiation oncologists at Halifax Health to offer patients the very latest and most promising treatments available through national research trials.
The programs include outpatient medical and radiation oncology services; a specialized gynecologic oncologist, the Breast Health Center; hereditary cancer risk assessment, counseling and support groups; clinical research; screening and detection services, Tumor Registry cancer data system and the Josephine Field Davidson Cancer Resource Library.
The cancer program also offers a specialized inpatient oncology unit on the main campus in Daytona Beach.
Outpatient services are provided at Halifax Health's Medical Centers located in Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Port Orange, and offered jointly with Florida Hospital - New Smyrna.
