Free Tax Preparation Partnership
Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties (CF/UWVFC) is partnering with AARP Foundation to provide enhanced free tax preparation service for the Volusia-Flagler County community next tax season.
CF/UWVFC has offered free tax preparation to Flagler and Volusia County residents for over 20 years through the VITA program. Now, through our new partnership with AARP, that service is being enhanced in a meaningful way.
Here's what makes this partnership so exciting for our community:
- ● More locations — greater access across Flagler and Volusia County
- ● No income or age restrictions — free tax prep is now available to everyone
- ● Appointments still made easily online or by phone
- ● Volunteers receive expanded training and resources, including a Chromebook for tax preparation
- ● Dedicated support from AARP coordinators at the district and state level
- ● Year-round service for taxpayers who file extensions or need amendments
