Animal law deals with a variety of areas including veterinary, pet grooming, pet boarding/kennel malpractice complaints; animal property rights; protection of wild animals; zoo and circus conditions; leash, licensing and other animal control laws; animal rights; cruelty to animals; animal welfare; the use of canines in law enforcement and drug regulation; equine law; and the humane treatment of livestock and animals used in medical experiments.
