Public Health Emergency Bulletins
Taxonomy Code: JP-6500.6670
Programs that provide information for emergency responders, public health officials, clinicians and the public about how to stay safe during public health emergencies like the COVID-19 pandemic, measles outbreaks or other health related threats. Included may be information about practices mandated by government officials at all levels to protect the public such as staying at home unless going out is essential, wearing masks and social distancing when out in public. The bulletins may also address where to find protective equipment, where people can access diagnostic or antibody testing and recent statistics regarding the numbers of people in various areas who have contracted the virus and/or have died of the illness. Some programs may develop and share webinars that provide more in-depth information about the situation and how to stay safe.
