Description:
The W.I.C. Program is the federal Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children administered by the Florida Department of Health. WIC offers family nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding assistance and education, and issues EBT benefits for WIC approved foods that are redeemable at local groceries at no charge to participants. You may qualify for WIC if you are a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding mother. Infants and children under the age of five may also qualify. You automatically qualify for WIC if you receive Temporary Cash Assistance, Medicaid or SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits.

Proof of identification, proof of income, and proof of where you live are needed at certification.
Eligibility
All applicants must meet income guidelines. Services are available for pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants and children until their fifth birthday.
Fees
All services are provided at no cost to participants of the program.
Intake Procedure
Clients must call for appointments. All applicants must be present for appointments.
