Description

Outdoor therapeutic programs for troubled youth 10-17 and their families when home/community placement is no longer feasible. Alternative to intermediate (30-90 days) and long-term psychiatric hospitalization when appropriate. Youth develop socially appropriate inter and intra personal skills, identify and develop their strengths, and set goals. Family support and counseling help improve parenting skills. Accredited educational program allows successful graduates to return to school and community and apply learned skills. Regular and ongoing visitation required.
