Description:
The area's only comprehensive center that provides psychiatric services for children and adolescents (ages 2-17) with emotional and behavioral problems.
As a part of your child's treatment, our primary goal is to provide a safe, therapeutic environment at all times. Halifax Health - Behavioral Services team works to establish healthy behavior by working with the child to learn new skills, socially and emotionally, and then by reinforcing positive feedback and encouragement for a smoother transition back into the home, family, school and their community.
Parenting Classes
Tuesdays - 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
As a courtesy to attendees, no one will be admitted after 5:30 pm when session begins.
Six consecutive sessions.
Sessions are on rotation and when you have finished your 6th session, and present receipts for attending, you will be given a certificate of completion.
Child care is not provided and children cannot be left in the lobby unattended.
